Collectors want limited editions and low mintage numbers, that is not fake news. I believe the mint produces novelty collector items, and premium collector items. I buy whatever I like, if I can budget for it and if I can time it right. Ryder doesn't bother me Im sure he knows he can't please the world.

Good information, thank you. I am a fan of law and order and I do believe there is no wiggle room for error or law breaking especially with the Mint. I just think there are other bigger problems that plague the mint, like orange coins. That is not a market I would venture into.

Yeah I don't let that bother me, of course they sold out in minutes it is a desirable product and mintage. We have alarm clocks, you snooze you lose. Maybe they got a piece of the action, good for them. What if they gave a 100 more collectors an opportunity to buy one? There is two sides to every coin.

Jake: I prefer an EXPLANATION on the 'mistake' listing of apporx. 100 Enhanced rev. AG ASEs @ like 4am Eastern time that sold out in minutes. Somebody had a heads up & made a ton of money- and the mint let them go ahead despite clear power to decline to sell due to a mistake, maybe they got a piece of the ACTION???

The Mint is staffed by a Trumper, this sales limits, sold out limited editions and the truth may be twisted as well. Obama Adm. did also sell unsold ltd. ed. coins, but Ryder sold I think thousands & thousand$ more- your 2016 Burnished ATBs are just bullion @ best now THANKS LIAR RYDER

The U.S. Mint broke a Public Law when it sold more than 50,000 of the 2014 Baseball $5 gold coins. The Mint's website official sales figures still show 50,104 gold Baseball coins sold. The 2021 Red Book shows the sales figure as 50,102 of the $5 gold Baseball coins sold. The Public Law passed by Congress & signed by the President allowed no more than 50,000 mintage on that commemorative coin. The Mint management does what it wants without regard to our laws.
