I showed this to my wife who does not collect coins but knows about the hobby from what she has seen me study and by watching how I handle my raw coins. As soon as she saw his hands start going in the bag she asked, “Where are his gloves?” And she sounded upset and confused about how these are supposed to be “very special” and yet no kind of gloves were used at any time during the video. She even used the word “stupid” which she hates to use. I’m glad I only buy PCGS graded coins. And that’s because they seem to bring a higher price, even though I have never sold any of my coins.

Lol. On the back of each NGC slab label on these coins it will say “Guaranteed to be touched by the un-gloved oily hands of each of the 3 coin graders & the grade finalizer.”
Such amateurs at NGC!! Very scary!!

For such a special bag of coins, why didn’t they have gloves on when removing the coins from the bag. hand oil turns into finger prints later !!!

NGC is a privately owned company & can do wherever shady things they want to do & yes, they favor big coin dealers in their services & promotions of their coins in NGC press releases which is unfair! That is why I only do business with PCGS, since it is a publicly-owned stock corporation that has to answer to shareholders like me & the U.S. government’s SEC & their board of directors. PCGS is the only third-party authentication/grading service that is owned by the public (NASDAQ: CLCT). Think about it…

I was told by Lisa at NGC if they do not get an item within 30 days of its release it can’t be graded as early release, or as in this case first day of issue. These coins are way over the first day of issue. Since it was a big customer the rules are changed. Can’t have it both ways. The biggest customers also get the highest grades.
