Ack! Finally received my AL Silver Medal, while it has no obvious imperfections the obverse is just awful… the bulging eye actually isn’t as bad as I feared but the hair just ruins it.

In reply to Bob. Sounds about right for the USMint. I find that I take big gamble when purchasing products from them. Watch their video on how they make the reverse proof cents. It's no big suprise that coins get sent out scratched up.

ordered about 20 S proof eagles and sent more than half back looked like garbage. Nicks, toning, smears and scratches on the plastic capsules.

2019s proof is selling very well with 72,463 first week and up to 84,104 this week,despite mezacks prediction of less than 100,000. That coin will probably sell through New Years plus another 45,000 in the limited edition proof set, unless the mint has a suprise up its sleeve.but in any event that coin will most likely go over 200,000
