Like I've said many many times..."BUY THE COIN NOT THE SLAB!" But the sad thing about the whole label thing is that there is a real market for the darn things! 'FIRST DAY OF ISSUE" brings more money than "FIRST STRIKE" and "FIRST STRIKE" brings more money than what use to be the regular standard labels before all these other "special premium or premier labels" started. AND.. some coin dealers now have their own "EXCLUSIVE ONLY AVAILABLE FROM ME LABEL" AND they couldn't leave it at that. OH NO! They are now coming out with "EXCLUSIVE LIMITED CORES." What will be next and will it ever stop!?? What will it do to our hobby and our collections that just have the plain Jane label. What are we to do??? Jump on this crazy band wagon and follow this cray thread or get left behind. I really hope this will wind up being a huge bubble and it will burst big time!

People are naive and foolish. It's the same reason Mike Mezack is able to take advantage of these same people who pay $100 for a coin that is essentially not worth more than it's face value. THERE ARE 2 MILLION OF THESE COINS IN CIRCULATION!!!! We will be finding them for years and years to come. My wife is an attorney and she always tells me that if it weren't for foolish and naive people, she would be out of a job. The same is true for Mike Mezack and anyone else who takes advantage of the foolish and naive. My favorite are the coin graders who have dozens of different labels for the same coin. One label makes the coin worth $300 and another makes it worth only $90. REALLY???? It's the same exact coin with the same exact grade!!!!! The only explanation is naivety and foolishness by the consumers and greed by the coin graders and dealers. My rant is over. I'm out!
