U.S. Mint image of the 2018-S Proof American Silver Eagle. Its sales reached 93,884 coins in 13 days.

Make it two weeks in a row for the 2018-S Proof American Silver Eagle. It’s led numismatic sales for the U.S. Mint since its Aug. 14 release.

The silver coin rose another 16,417 to stand at 93,884. It has advanced by a combined 41,390 units since scoring first-day sales of 52,494.

Meanwhile, the no longer available 2018 Silver Reverse Proof Set rose 9,423 to 198,748. That’s 99.4% out of the possible 200,000 sets sold. Sales briefly re-opened for the set at least once since a week ago.

And again, the climb continues for World War I Centennial 2018 Silver Medals since their July 31 sales reopening. Their gains were smaller for a second week, rising by a combined 416 pieces to 61,255. Their prior two weekly increases came in at 880 pieces and 4,910 pieces, respectively.

  10. 2018 Birth Set (+418 to 17,886)

In its latest report, the U.S. Mint published sales data for 166 numismatic products. Twenty-eight outperformed their prior weekly gains against 83 previously. Six products increased by more than 1,000 units as in the previous report. In addition, one product saw its sales reduced — also like in the previous report.
