It appears that the final mintages for these Boys Town coins based on the U.S. Mint's Production Figures released on January 2, 2018 are: Half (Proof) - 23,213, Half (Uncirculated) - 15,561, Silver Dollar (Proof) - 31,651, Silver Dollar (Uncirculated) - 12,313, Gold (Proof) - 7,376, Gold (Uncirculated) - 2,947. The Uncirculated figures for the Boys Town coins smash the previous low mintages, which were the 2016 National Park Service Half - 21,019, 1996 Olympic (Wheelchair) Silver - 14,513, 2016 National Park Service Gold - 5,150. I believe that the U.S. Mint's release of so many products in the past few years has negatively affected the Modern Commemorative Series. The U.S. Mint and the sponsors of this year's coins (Boys Town and the Lions Club) should not be surprised at all at how these coins have sold (or, more specifically, not sold).
