That is a big jump on the Platinum Eagle. From 3,000-4,000 the two years before up to 9,000 in 2016! Wonder what caused that? Was there a big change in the price?

For the $100 gold coin, a couple of months ago it received significant coverage form the non-coin press. When the coin was actually released, zero coverage. I think the Mint should handled media coverage better.

Thanks for the great comprehensive updated sales figures for two weeks & analysis! The photo tagline says .9995 fine instead of .9999 fine for the gold $100 coin.

So sad, the 2017 is a flop, and the mintage & sale (likely FOREVER!) will make a low mintage coin unlikely, nor legs on this item. The Mint cares little abot what collectors think, we like a CHANCE to buy an item from the mint, not profiteers (2017 S ASE proof ...) and although modern ideas & all inclusion is PC these days, sorry, I would have preferred a Flowing Hair, like they used back in 1792, heck I was there it feels like.......next year HR a latina, then a asian-American....etc., etcetera......a string of low sellers destined to be bullion coins in 10, 20 years, as the collector market is dying a slow ugly death. Look @ US Stamps, the USPS killed off plate block, then collecting of them, issues too much stuff or marginal designs, & now issue stamp <5years after a death (Oscar Delarents dide less than 3 years ago he is NOW on stamp, He was not POTUS....they must have lifted a 5 year wait, kind of like the mint lifting all HH limits, MCM, AMPEX, etc. have 100;s for sale, slabbed & in OMP...I don;t care & no longer collect to where I need to fill a hole......maybe they fill the hole in the temp Mint directors brain.....

I thought for sure 25k by now. She is a beauty though. Have seen a couple on you tube. I guess with 100k mintage with the 400 plus dollar premium, Not many buyers. We'll see what happens..
