2018 World War I Coast Guard Medal Designs Reviewed
In 2018, the United States Mint will release World War I silver medals in conjunction with silver dollars commemorating the centennial of America's involvement in the war. The medals will celebrate the five branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. One of them will honor the U.S. Coast Guard.

In a few days, the United States Mint and the National Park Service will officially present the quarter commemorating the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site in Washington, D.C. This year's second quarter ceremony takes place at the site on Tuesday, April 4.

US Mint Sales: 2017-W Proof Silver Eagles Debut
This year's 2017-W Proof American Silver Eagle scored solid first-day sales of 226,173 coins, but then moved ahead by just 6,837 coins over the weekend for a four-day total of 233,010 coins.
