I don't know about,

"Please note there is a delay in the delivery of Star Trek: The Original Series — 50th Anniversary 2016 1oz Silver Delta Coin. Any orders containing this product will be despatched from late October 2016."

I ordered myself one this afternoon and it will be shipped to my home address in Canada within five to seven days. Door to door service. No hold up on my end. Maybe its because I live in Canada and the RCM is a common wealth mint the same as the Perth /or/ that I am Canadian? I have no idea and don't really care. Cant wait to see the new addition. Very reasonable price, low mintage, I'm used to 4-9's but the design is something I would not pass up.

I ordered one of these bad boys today. It will be a great addition to my RCM pure gold coin -Star Trek TM Delta coin and my 20 for 20 Start Trek silver coin. I am such a fan of Star Trek. Brilliant coins to collect / they will all do well in the long run. I am a Hugh supported of the Perth and my RCM.

I took a look at the Perth Star Trek bullion coin, may grab a few / along with the RCM superman bullion. Keeps collecting fun and new. Always good to stack silver and gold as well as numismatic coins. Nice to have a balance.

Happy collecting my friends.

Darrin Lee Unser -

This coin was issued on September 6 by the Perth Mint Australia. I ordered one with some other coins from them & have it already. It is fantastic! But, the Perth Mint made an "error" by stating in its early press releases & on its website & on the serialized COAs that the coin has the Perth Mint's "P" Mint mark. It does not! I let PM Customer Service Officer Trixie Rhodes know about the situation when I received my coin last week & she said they had not noticed their error! She apologized & said they would not be issuing new serialized COAs (I got a low # of 961). I went back to their website a few days ago to order another four coins for my 4 nephews & was surprised to see that now there is a delay until late October for delivery. So, I ordered 4 from my favorite coin dealer in Canada who I found out happened to have ordered some on first day of issue on September 6 & had them in stock at issue price as a PM distributor.
The heavy thick acrylic holder is secured with four aluminum screws & the graphic beauty box has great Star Trek™ artwork in black & yellow.
