I agree with you. The market is oversaturated with these common bullion silver coins (47 million sold last year alone!) And some dealers want a $5-$6 premium over spot. Crazy for sure.

I think the bullion dealers are over stocked on the ASEs already and the collectors are not buying at their selling price. With almost 23.5 million of them, who cares anyway? I don’t.

Unbelievable that the ASE bullion coin sales to the US Mint’s 13 worldwide Authorized Purchasers were the lowest of any week this year this week. The APs only bought 55.8 percent of the coins available to them. That is 516,000 ASE $1 coins left unsold! What is causing such a lack of demand for these bullion coins lately?
