A Master’s Club rep told me the gold plating is not as brown as the photo they sent out in the Club e-mail, but is a shade of pink (rose gold pink) as in the video shown in this article. She also said that although their website says shipping starts in June that Club members coins should begin shipping in mid-May sometime, but still too late for Mother’s Day. It is a small one-fourth ounce silver coin, but my mother will like the subject matter & it makes a nice extra gift in addition to the gift I already have for her.
There is debate in the horticulture community as to the classification of this variety of rose (Queen Elizabeth rose) which adds to the collectible factor.
