Interesting story. I had heard she did that “last dance” on the table at the White House, but hadn’t looked up the picture till now. What a wonderful woman who helped so many with their health problems by admitting her own!

My mother’s friend once wrote her and said, “I know you’ll never read this letter.” She got back a note saying, “I do too read my own mail!” Also, she was a professional dancer and when leaving the White House for the last time gave into an urge and danced on the Cabinet Room table. You can easily find a picture of her doing this. Very cool.
