Darrin Lee Unser -

Speaking of precious metals, it is March 1 Perth, Western Australia Time now & I don't see your article on the very, very low mintage of 2,000 (1 coin per household till Midday March 3 if any are left) 2016 Norse Gods - Odin 2-ounce silver $2 high relief coin of Tuvalu. A description of the coin & all March new issues has been posted on the official Perth Mint Australia website since at least February 11 & is NOT embargoed information! Please let your dedicated CoinNews readers who support this coin blog website know about this news & about this rarity today before they sell out after you & I get our allotment.
Thanks for your unbiased fairness in this matter Mr. Unser.

Happy collecting everyone!

It is typical investment psychology that most people buy gold on the way up & not while it is low or not volatile. USAA's Precious Metals & Mining Fund has basically gone down for the past 5 years! (It was over $40 per share in 2012 & today is $11.40 per share!) The USAA spokesman quoted in this article was on CNBC last week & the anchors actually got him to admit that gold is not the best investment by far & the USAA fund is basically dead money like multi-billionaire Warren Buffett says all the time (he doesn't own any physical gold or any precious metals) since they don't bring dividends. Good advice from one of the wealthiest persons in the world!

FYI -

I put the list of the U.S. Mint's 13 worldwide bullion version coin "Authorized Purchasers" in the comments section of the February 27 precious metals report on this coin blog website since a few CoinNews readers asked.
