Danny – It is always a better deal to order directly form the US Mint. Many of the what I will kindly call advertised sellers are overpriced and take advantage of the inexperienced collector.

Still waiting for the coins I ordered in early September from First Coin Company. Last email from them said Thanksgiving to maybe before Christmas. Preordering, Ha! I told them I might be dead before I get them. I turn 60 on November 6th. I can only hope and wait. Best of luck to those that Preorder outside a well established Mint.

It took what, 2 to 3 months to sell out 30,000 much hyped first ever $100.00 24k hi releif U.S. Gold Coin? To think I sat there waiting for High Noon hoping to get one only to find out in the end I could have waited. At least I got one of the jewels of the bunch. An NGC graded MS70 PL Early Release. I have a little over $1,450.00 in it and I have seen the coin in the same grade going for between $5,000 and $10,000. So, in the end it was worth it. Should got 2 and hoped they both graded the same.
What I’m really excited about is next year and I hope the Mint really gets innovated and doesn’t dissapoint and comes out with coins like other Mints have been producing for the last 5yrs. or so. Hi Releif in 1 to 10 oz, Fractional Set’s, ect.
There’s always hope, I hope.
