With many of these sets being submitted for grading (I like my coins raw and ungraded), and with the first two being very limited, it will be interesting to see what happens to the prices when sellers begin selling the combined sets in one auction.

On their first day of release Tuesday August 11, 2015, the U.S. Mint’s issue price was $57.95 for a 2015 Eisenhower Coin & Chronicles Set. That same day ebay seller discountprices815 was able to resell them for $399 each as Item #291537319327. $399 – $57.95 = +$241.05 Windfall Profit.

I wished everyone luck but I didn’t have luck myself getting the set. I didn’t have a problem with the Mint. I had a problem with my SLEEP! I can’t believe I OVER SLEPT !. LOL. Oh well, I’ll use that money for the graded coin. That money plus no telling how much more. LOL

Made sure i had optimal 4g signal on my phone, order in at 12:02, site crashed 3 times. Started new web page and went right thru, done by12:06. Confirmed order email from mint not until about 3:30!! Got two sets, i like the low mintage sets, gets some excitement into the newer offerings from the mint!!! As well as the ability to make some loot….

Chris Williams, You are correct. 50,000 JFK sets it is! And the mint plays us all like a fiddle!

I was also wrong about the Truman mintage. Both Ike and Tru at 17,000. Still too low, due to the inclusion of the reverse proof dollars.
