Yeah, it’s like paying a premium for a graded coin just because it has a special piece of paper in the capsule that in itself is as worthless as any other piece of paper. A hoax made up by the graders to increase sales and especially profits.

This is a BIG ripoff. Two dollar bills are worth $2, nothing more (and in the future perhaps not even that). You’re paying for some fancy mounting that is completely worthless when/if you want to sell these in the future. Take it from me who is sitting on hundreds of dollars worth of Franklin Mint and US mint junk left to me from dead relatives that aren’t worth a nickel. Prices seen on ebay are prices put on by hopeful sellers.

Not counterfeit as the numbers can be the same as long as the letters are different which they would be coming from 3 different banks.

You want to make sure you get a sheet of $10 before Hamilton is replaced by a woman in 2020. The new woman $10 should be of value and once Hamilton disappears those should increase in value too.

In this case matching serial numbers in exception to 2015 would I supose be called counterfeit.In I believe 1995 the wife and I visited the BEP. we purchased a 64 note uncut sheet 1963 A series.I doubt it’s worth more than maybe $100 today but novel and interesting.We find this set interesting and purchased 2 sets.I will be interested to see how long til sell out.
