I think it looks great, but the secondary market is not what I thought it would be based on prices on eBay and conversations with a couple of coin dealers I trust. I sold it to a trusted dealer and made $5 over what I paid and I’m feeling lucky for even getting that.Win some, lose some. I could not afford to hold it at this time for the long term and to see what happens. If gold goes further south, then it’s definitely going to be bad for what is paid.

Ihave since returned them all back to the mint. They are over rated, over priced and as far as I can determine unwanted and the box is cheap!
Coin World Magazine made a big deal about their release prior to the sale but their next issue after the release date (Aug 30) did not even mention them in any way save Letters to the editor. This is highly irregular for this publication. It’s as if they are trying to distance themselves from this item. I’d love to hear what everyone else thinks.

No price drop, at least from the Mint, on Wednesday. To drop to the next level, the London price fix will have to average $821.15 for both Tuesday fixes and the Wed AM fix. That is extremely unlikely. But given the steady decline we have seen this summer, a $40 average drop for the next week from this week’s levels is not beyond the realm of possibility.
