US Banknote Production Tops 566.6 Million in JulySlightly fewer banknotes were produced last month than in June but more than a year earlier, data from the agency responsible for printing U.S. currency shows. The combined value of the notes was also lower than the previous month when it was the highest in 1-3/4 years. It was sharply higher than in July of last year, however.
