A lot of people bought it at 1st day , think they got burned ,it is wrong
It was 1st edition , only Around 10-20 k set, 2nd edition will be out at September,
So if u have 1st edition better to get it grading for proof of 1st edition .
Somehow this set is unlimited mintage. So US MINT could make couple million set to meet the demand .
But it will destroy secondary market like 1984 Olympic $coin ! So beware!

The set has gone to Unavailable status, something that I did not expect so soon. I had thought that the set would go to Back Order until the US Mint made some more medals. I expected that the Mint would continue to make more Jackie medals as long as people continued to buy them, and there must be tons of JFK $1 coins around.

However, it seems that a key factor might be the plastic card that holds the coin and medal together. The Mint may have anticipated the higher demand and ordered more than the normal amount of coin/medal cards, but in case of a sell-out, they may not re-order more cards from the manufacturer, especially if it's a foreign company.

In the past, Unavailable coins went straight to Sold Out, with a few coins being available in-between as orders were cancelled or returned.

This is a remarkable development that I did not anticipate. I wonder how many sets the Mint assembled: 15,000? 20,000?
