Looks to me like “out of stock” and “currently unavailable” are identical – at least the supporting text is. Even the article’s text says Out of Stock is for Currently Unavailable. It’s unclear why the website is using both. I’m guessing more than one group of designers/implementers were working on the project and didn’t communicate to each other hence two phrases that mean the same thing.

I used the Remind Me button, got no response, but got the item because I saw numbers changing in the weekly volume update. Diligence in pursuit paid off.

A couple of points regarding ‘Out of stock’ items.
1) A ‘product’ may be out of stock because one or more of its constituent parts is temporarily unavailable. Recently that was demonstrated by the Coin and Currency set which sat in the out of stock mode because BEP could not (or did not) produce dollar bills of adequate quality (according to the mint) to meet the mint’s requirements. This lapse allowed for cancellations which then allowed others to order them, yet they were,for the most part, delivered in 2015, not 2014.
2) Packaging is a well-documented cause of items being out of stock. However, any coins which would be held in that packaging must be struck during the authorized period. Hence any 2014 coins for the LESPS were struck in 2014 and held in reserve until the packaging became available.

Never got a reminder even though I read on other sources that the products came back on sale after I had used the reminder button . the only thing I got out of it is more email from the Mint about upcoming products ….

Correction. Sorry meant “535 elitist” not “435”. At least believe unlike others there are only “50”states” in USA—if wrong on this too—please let me know.

Interesting.When the mint shows something as “out of stock” from a prior year do they just mint more and is this not unlawful? Do not blame them for wanting to sell what they minted but suggest they at least disclose what was legally minted in the year they likely should have been minted. (if there is no such limit on when something can be minted there is no sense in buying any coins.) I admit I was burned by them in the “golden medallion program” when they had “strict rules” but by the way then offered “sets” which based on their representations could/should have been “unlawful”. (of course none of my three elitist (of the 435) could did explain this). My solution simply is everything should be available by subscription and limited for others to a reasonable time (not entering into a new year).

Realy, I have left 4 different item reminders, I have NEVER got an email from the mint on this, take a survey yes….this stuff, or other useful things, the mint STINKS!
