We’re in a shortened week of coin news with Christmas right around the corner. Most world mints are taking a break from product launches. Not the United States Mint.

And on that note, last week’s two most read articles were about their upcoming products. Topmost was about the 2014 Franklin D. Roosevelt Coin and Chronicles Set and its two coins, two medals and four stamp. That could be a good sign for the Mint as the set goes on sale Monday.

Most of our articles this week will be about U.S. coins. We expect to publish some wrap-up pieces on coin legislation, talk more about product sales and write about some coins for 2015. Until then, here are last week’s five most read:

  2. US Mint 12-Month Product Schedule for 2015 – Collectors can now look ahead to upcoming products from the United States Mint, including brand new issues in high-relief. The agency today published its preliminary schedule and it’s filled with products through the 12 months of 2015.
