I also have an order “On Hold” now. I ordered two on 12/3 (with a December 8 est ship date) along with other items to make the $100 free shipping. Received the other items Monday the 8th. Hoping the on hold is released when more stock arrives – before other orders are taken.

I got in on the first day for the C&C and ordered me 2 sets. I was on the web looking around the next week and there were people on there already selling these. Some of the sales said they had 50 of them available. When will the mint ever listen and put a household limit on something like this with a minting of only 50,000. At least for a couple weeks and then let these people order 200 if they want.

Mine was set to ship on DEC 8th purchased DEC 4th now on HOLD as customer service says today the 10th we are out of stock..no email from US mint don’t look good.

Kahoola – yeah, an empty promise from the mint or it’s just not yet implemented on the new site yet.
I saw there was an increase in sales in last week’s article so disregarded the missing email and went to the Mint site and ordered anyway. It shipped the next day but hasn’t arrived yet.

Don’t wait for the e notice,doesn’t sound to me like anyone received notification.When it comes to your mind just hit the mint site.I got mine by just blind luck,the avaliable sets went quickly.

The website said you could sign up for email notice when the sets became available. The sets became available, sold out the second batch. Still no email notice from the Mint that they were ever available. Suspect that the dealers grabbed the lion’s share of them.

Jan,The max mintage is 50 grand.I doubt they will deliver short on this offering.Look as often as you can and don’t hesitate
