We sort of had a WW1 commemorative already in the Peace Dollar. If they do it right this could be a popular issue, although that conflict has been overshadowed in history by WW2.

There are hundreds of amazing works of art in existence wrapped around this time in history..This to me is a terrific theme.My question to you is do mint staff artists have the where with all to carve this epic time in history and I if they do will today’s collectors give a damn.Look at the Kennedy theme that I really liked ,the current generation is still moaning..(Senior)

Can’t wait to see how the CCAC and the CFA screw up this coin. Based on all of the lame, pathetic, ugly designs they choose – the obverse will have 3 people staring back – mocking you for paying twice spot silver prices for a coin that will end up being valued just above spot.
