Kookaburra, Kangaroo and Koala High Relief Collection
Three of the Perth Mint’s most popular designs are presented together in the 2014 Australian High Relief Silver Proof Three-Coin Collection. It includes kookaburra, kangaroo and koala coins that are struck from one ounce of 99.9% pure silver.
Mintages of the individual coins vary from 10,000 to 20,000. Just 1,000 of these three-coin sets are available. The coins appear together in a single Perth Mint display case with the collection available for AUS $278.18, or US $239.65.
Year of the Goat Silver High Relief Coin
Issued as part of the Perth Mint’s Australian Lunar Silver Coin Series II, the 2015 Year of the Goat Silver Proof High Relief Coin is composed of one ounce of .999 fine silver. Shown on the reverse is a high relief version of the Perth’s Year of the Goat design as completed by Natasha Muhl.
The coin is available with an issue limit of 6,500. Another 1,000 has been reserved for other product packaging. Pricing of the high relief coin is AUS $92.73, or US $79.88.
Year of the Goat Kilo Silver Gemstone Coin
An emerald gemstone is set as part of the reverse design on the 2015 Year of the Goat 1 Kilo Silver Gemstone Coin. The emerald is used in place of one of the eyes of the three goats seen on the colored reverse image.
The Perth Mint indicates the maximum mintage for the kilo silver coin is limited to 5,000. Priced at AUS $1,590.91, or US $1,370.53, each ships with presentation packaging and a certificate of authenticity.
Year of the Goat Silver Rectangle Four-Coin Set
Colored reverse designs of four different goats appear on the 2015 Year of the Goat 1 oz Silver Rectangle Four-Coin Set. When displayed together in the correct order, the four-coin goat designs complete a linked image.
Mintage of the set is limited to 3,000. A four-coin black display case is included with each collection. The set is AUS $360.00, or US $310.13.
Baby Goat Silver Proof Coin
In keeping with the lunar theme of goats, the Perth Mint has created the 2015 Baby Goat 1/2 oz Silver Proof Coin. The reverse design of a baby goat is enhanced for the holidays with the inclusion of snowflakes and a colorful sack of gifts.
No more than 7,500 of the baby goat coins will be released. Priced at AUS $57.73, or US $50.45, each ships with a black display case and a certificate of authenticity inside an illustrated shipper.
Snow Fairy Silver Proof Coin
A colored reverse design of a snow fairy appears on the reverse of the 2015 Snow Fairy 1/2 oz Silver Proof Coin. The image is joined by snowflakes and a cherry blossom tree.
Each coin is attached to an illustrated presentation card which opens to display a pop-up snow fairy. Mintage is capped at 5,000 with pricing listed at AUS $57.73, or US $50.45.
Diamantinasaurus Silver Proof Colored Coin
Issued as the second release in the five-coin Australian Age of Dinosaurs series, the Perth Mint has released the 2015 Diamantinasaurus 1 oz Silver Proof Colored Coin. Shown on the reverse is the likeness of a giant diamantinasaurus set amidst a colorful prehistoric forest surrounding.
Each proof-quality coin ships with a display case and a numbered certificate of authenticity. They are limited to 5,000 coins, and each is AUS $90.00, or US $78.66.
Christmas Stamp & Coin Cover
In time for holiday gift-giving, the Perth Mint has issued the 2014 Christmas Stamp & Coin Cover. As part of the release, a holiday-themed coin celebrates the story of Santa Claus and his reindeer.
Two festive Australia Post stamps are postmarked from the first day of issue. Mintage of the stamp and coin cover is unlimited. Pricing is AUS $14.50, or US $12.67.
Australian Citizenship $1 Coin
The Perth Mint’s latest annual Australian Citizenship $1 Coin is now available. The new 2015-dated coin features a reverse depicting the Australian Commonwealth Coat of Arms.
A colored presentation card, which may be folded out for display, holds the coin. Pricing is set at AUS $12.27, or US $10.57.
