Even at the discounted rate, the Mint was still making a mint in premium profit. Shoot, we ought to get some kind of price break since we paid $279 each when these first came out.

I’m headed over to the mint’s web site now to cancel my subscription. I’ll bundle several items in one shipment to make up for the 10% increase on the mints most loyal costumers.

JP, look at the email from the Mint Sept. 18th “IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM THE UNITED STATES MINT”. Look under the heading “•Shipping Procedures, Returns and Fulfillment Center Changes”. Under the second star point is written “Eligible subscription products shipped before September 27, 2014 will receive the current subscription discount; eligible subscription products shipped subsequent to the launch of the new website will be charged at regular price.”

I could be mistaken, but it sure sounds to me like they are ending the subscription discount.

If so, they will still mail you the subscription but you will pay the full list price, no 10% discount. Can anybody correct me if i am wrong?

Everglades should come in vastly lower in Nov. since the 10% subscription discount has been eliminated.

I cancelled my 5 oz ATB coin subscription since the Mint cancelled the discount. I hope thousands of others do the same.
