The 2009 Mint Set is the only way to aquire them. Just 774,844 minted. Look at the price of todays 1909 S Lincoln Cent and how many they made or the 1909 S vdb for that matter.

The Mint website showed them as being sold out for 2 days, but today they are available again. I bought a bunch of sets after seeing they were sold out, and will probably end up losing money on every one of them. I called the Mint to complain and they had no go reason for the error, but then they are the government and incompetence is the norm. I won’t be purchasing from the US Mint ever again. Thanks for listening to me vent.

I suspect that there will be another “bump” at the end of 2013 sales as well as the last time this set was listed as “sold out”.

The mint posted them as sold out a few weeks back when the proof set sold out and then retracted. Yesterday they were on the sold out list. Not sure what’s up with the mint’s website but the people who order now may have line cancelations. I hope they are finally sold out. Super low mintage.
