The 2009 Uncirculated United States Mint Coin Set with the Linconoln cent are specially minted using the same metallic composition as the inaugural 1909 Lincoln Penny, which is 95% copper, 3% zinc and 2% tin. The 2009 Mint Set is the only way to aquire them. Just 774,844 minted. Look at the price of todays 1909 S Lincoln Cent and how many they made or the 1909 S vdb for that matter.

The US Mint again screws up by marking the 2013 mint set as sold out, only to make them available again. The Mint website showed them as being sold out for 2 days, but today they are available again. I bought a bunch of sets after seeing they were sold out, and will probably end up losing money on every one of them. I called the Mint to complain and they had no go reason for the error, but then they are the government and incompetence is the norm. I won't be purchasing from the US Mint ever again. Thanks for listening to me vent.

Checked 2012 eBay sets and the average "Sold" price is $42.

I suspect that there will be another "bump" at the end of 2013 sales as well as the last time this set was listed as "sold out".

A keyboard fat finger? Perhaps once, but twice?

Head fake! 2013 mint sets still on sale today.

The 2013 annual dollar sets are not available till September 5th. Does that mean that the mint is assembling more sets right now?

Now they are available to buy. The mint posted them as sold out a few weeks back when the proof set sold out and then retracted. Yesterday they were on the sold out list. Not sure what's up with the mint's website but the people who order now may have line cancelations. I hope they are finally sold out. Super low mintage.
Happy collecting!
