I think “The proud American classic” best addresses the challenges of this competition. Some of the other designs look more like a patch that you would sew onto a uniform. Others look like clip art that was simply dragged into a circle. The baseball glove theme ( of which there are four versions ) is too obvious and rather stagnant. The “Diamond Jubilee” looks like a silhouette of two guys fighting while the “Slugger coin” looks like the batter has a broken leg. “The proud American classic” looks like what a coin should look like. Besides representing baseball it has a strong patriotic theme. It is a well balanced design with strong symbolism and enthusiasm for not just the sport of baseball but for our country as well. Fabulous design.

I like the hand full of gold. Not cluttered and a nice ball to glove theme.

Well at least the convex side of the coin will look like a baseball. For the obverse I’d vote for a glove which is naturally concave like the Dad’s Baseball Glove coin or the Hand Full of Gold coin. They’ve got 3 chances to get it right.
