I actually like this set of coins. Yes, you have to pay a premium to gather them, but when you look at the history of our country and see that only a handful of presidents was honored with a coin prior to this set it was perplexing. Actually you can get most in BU condition or in mint sets fairly cheap.

If you're patient, you'll probably find the Presidential dollars from 2012-2016 in rolls eventually as a few examples here and there will inevitably end up in circulation. I've found every half dollar from 2002 to 2011 in rolls and most of the 2002 to 2008 Sacagawea dollars and none of those were released to the banking system. But if you can't wait, or insist on BU coins, then yeah...US Mint or a coin dealer's your only hope.

I have a book and have been saving since the program started. I have bought several rolls at my bank but can no longer buy them. I don't know why but I cannot find any more loose ones either as I need all the 2012s so I can catch up on my book. Do you guys know where I can buy the 2012 series? It would be greatly appreciated Thank You

"I can’t wait until 20 January 2017 ..."

Please, George. The last few days have been filled enough ill will to last several fully-lived lifetimes. Can we just talk about coins for a while?

Boring or not, poor artwork or not - it's moot because most of us will never see the coins unless we buy them at inflated prices, thanks to Treasury's spinelessness and Crane Paper's lobbying.
