They are quick on the gun to halt sales or increase prices if silver increases in value… Silver has drop 30% since the release of the first one, yet the price tag remains the same.

A couple of weeks ago, I read that there is a bill in the House that calls for changing the shape of the 5 ounce coin after the first 10 coins, 2010 & 2011 because of some issue the mint is having making the current coin. Anyone know anything about this?

I am kind of surprised that the coins don’t sell out sooner than they do. Being an 11 year program it will be interesting to see how many collectors collect the whole series. It will also be interesting to see how many of each are sold once the series matures. I don’t know whether I will collect the whole series or not. It depends how they manage the program. It will be interesting to see how the American Eagles will do with their increased prices.
