The strange thing about these coins are that they look exactly like the "quarters" that they are based from. There are no identification markings that say they are 5 Ounces of Silver or that they are .999 silver. This is only on the paper insert that comes with the box (COA). Only other identifier would be on an NGC or PCGS certified coin. This could make it easy to counterfit these coins. Stay with direct mint purchases or certified coins. Better safe than sorry!

What are the real world difference between the uncirculated and the bullion coin other than the box and mintage. Basically, how can one tell just by looking at the coin alone???

With regards to the 2010 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin™ – Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming (NP2)
Per US Mint: Ordering Limits:
A limit of one (1) coin per household is in effect for the first week of this product’s release. At the end of this period, the United States Mint will re-evaluate this limit and either extend, adjust or remove it.

As of this date (5/28) the Mint has not yet removed the one per household limit!

Also... Mintage Limits:
The 2010 America the Beautiful Five Ounce Silver Uncirculated Coin - Yellowstone National Park - is limited to a total mintage of 27,000 coins.

This 5 Oz Silver Coin is still much more affordable than $2,092 for the 2011 One ounce Proof Platinum Eagle coin !!!
