BEP Offers $10 Uncut Currency Sheets with Geithner and Rios Signatures

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, began selling Series 2009 $10 Uncut Currency Sheets featuring the signatures of U.S. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner and U.S. Treasurer Rosie Rios.

$10 Uncut Currency Sheets

The BEP in September 2010 printed $10s for the first time since July 2009.

Each uncut currency sheet includes crisp, uncirculated $10 notes of varying quantities that range in price from $69.00 to $249.00.

$10 Uncut Currency Sheets "hot off the press are a must-have in any collection and make wonderful gifts for those ‘hard to buy for’ people on your holiday shopping list," the BEP says in promoting the product on its website.

A 4 subject sheet is priced at $69.00, the 8 subject sheet at $127.00, and the 16 subject sheet is listed for $249.00. Each product has respective premiums of $29, $47 and $89. Sheets are available with notes designated from Federal Reserve Banks in either Chicago or Atlanta.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing also offers 16 subject acrylic frames to hold and hang uncut sheets. The frame enables viewing of both currency sides.
