The reason being is that I have a “$1.25” Coin but mine has a “D” stamp denoting the Denver Mint! I purchased the coin about 10 years ago from an old coin dealer in Augusta, Georgia for about $30. The coin looks authentic. The obverse and reverse is head to toe like regular coins not back to back like medals. I just can’t find info on any Denver Mint or replicas out there, any information would be useful.
