I sincerly hope that if this assanine law stays in effect that ALL businesses close their doors to the public Jan. 1, 2012 through Jan. 7, 2012. No one will be able to buy a stick of gum, a car, make a bank deposit, etc. If no one can do anything business wise watch how fast not only the governments precious economy tanks but how fast this law would be repealed. As a coin collector I will definately be hurting the businesses that I deal with as I will not do business with them BUYING or SELLING to the tune of more than $600 just to avoid this stupidity and stay under the radar. I am also in sincere hope that everyone who buys more than $600 in direct mint sales tattles on the US mint. I know I will. What about all the millions they make selling not only direct to the public but also all the bullion they sell to their exclusionary list of bullion dealers. Once again I hope their “dealers” or should I say mark-up making middle men tattle them out as well. I also hope that the bullsh*t government also taxes the sh*t out of the mint for all the money they make from nuismatic materials.
