ANA Seeks Nominations for 2009-11 Board of Governors

ANAThe American Numismatic Association will accept nominations for all nine seats on the 2009-11 Board of Governors, including the offices of President and Vice President, beginning December 1.

To become a candidate for ANA office, a member must receive at least five nominations from member clubs in good standing and at least five nominations from individual members in good standing.

The election process is governed by the ANA bylaws, including the offices and the process for nominations, elections and balloting. Bylaws, codes of ethics, and official nomination forms are posted on the ANA website at www.money.org (select "ANA Election Center" from the "Featured Links" menu).

Nomination forms must be submitted by mail to ANA Executive Director Larry Shepherd, 818 North Cascade Avenue, Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Forms will be accepted no earlier than Dec. 1 and no later than March 31. The new board will be installed at the ANA’s 118th Anniversary Convention in Los Angeles on Aug. 8, and will serve as the Association’s policy-making body for the next two years.
