I have an 1854 coin with eagle on the back. Above eagle it has copy. It also has San Francisco California and Twenty D on back. What is the value of this coin?

I have a 1854 Kellogg coin. The back of it is blank. I dont see anything stamped on it. It doesnt feel very heavy. We found it very damaged. It is bent up badly. We would at least like to know if its gold, or worth anything as it is. It may have gone thru an industrial dryer-

ok i found a coin that looked just like the pic. only i can not see the back because of some liked of gold paint or something gold is all over it and i have not found anything that will take it off to reveal the back so any how do you know if it is of any value and what can i use to clean it off even if it might be a copy

I bought mine out of a magazine,”things you never knew existed”, for $14.99. The on I believe may have calue is the one in the money clip. I would have it removed by professionals under my supervision. I think you may have walked into a goldmine. Good luck.

my wife just found the same coin as christopher and jennifer. going through her fathers
things after his passing. has anyone yet found out if there is value to this coin?
