Oklahoma First Day Coin CoversThe United States Mint 2008 Oklahoma Official First Day Covers went on sale Wednesday, February 27. These limited edition covers include two Oklahoma state quarters with the “Scissortail Flycatcher” design that were minted on the first day of production. One quarter is from the Mint’s Denver facility while the other is from its Philadelphia location.

The first day covers are priced at $14.95, plus $4.95 for standard shipping and handling. There is a total limit of 35,000 covers for sale.

In addition to the two state quarters, the display card includes a 41 cent American Flag postage stamp with a postmark of January 28, 2008 – the date the Oklahoma coins were first released to the public.
