Vicksburg Quarter Three-Coin SetDemand weakened a bit for many of the major United States Mint products, including each of its American Silver Eagle coins, but the bureau’s latest sales figures show a mostly steady stream of buying across its offerings.

The United States Mint released the uncirculated coin at noon Eastern Time Tuesday, October 25. 2011 $20 Canoe Silver CoinCollectors who may be interested but have not yet purchased the commemorative Canadian $20 Canoe Silver Coin may want to now, as the $20 coin sold for $20 is approaching a sell out.

The $20 Canoe silver coin is the second issue in a Royal Canadian Mint commemorative series that features coins sold at face value. The first, depicting a series of maple leafs, had a mintage of 200,000 and sold out in 29 days. Release dates are now known for the five 2012 America the Beautiful Quarters® that celebrate El Yunque National Forest in Puerto Rico, Chaco Culture National Historical Park in New Mexico, Acadia National Park in Maine, Volcanoes National Park in Hawaii and Denali National Park in Alaska.

Marking the third year since the quarters were introduced, the coins represent the 11th through 15th issue in the series which honor national parks and other national sites throughout the United States, D.C., and each U.S. Territory. 2011 American Silver Eagle Anniversary SetPricing for the American Silver Eagle 25th Anniversary Set was announced on Thursday by the United States Mint.

The collectible anniversary set featuring five 2011-dated American Silver Eagles will be available for $299.95, more than some expectations but less than others. Scheduled for release on October 27, the sets have an order limit of five per household.

2011-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle Coin2011-W Uncirculated Silver Eagles added to their total for the first time since suffering a suspension for re-pricing, according to the latest sales figures from the United States Mint.

Proof and uncirculated Silver Eagles were suspended in late September and returned for sale at reduced prices in early October. A sizable number of collectors apparently canceled their orders in favor of the lower prices as sales of uncirculated Silver Eagles dropped for two straight reporting periods — by 424 and 11,476. The most recent sales figures from the Mint have the coins up 8,827 for a total of 190,927 [...]
