There is no surprise in the skip over of Kennedy half dollars in the production tables. Public demand for the 50 cent pieces has never been high. Shocking, of course, are the missing Jefferson Nickels and Roosevelt Dimes. The public can purchase the new quarter-dollars directly from the Mint’s online store. The two-roll set includes 40 commemorative quarters minted in Philadelphia with the "P" mintmark and 40 coins from Denver with the "D" mintmark. The price tag is $32.95.
The Guam quarters are also packaged in 100-coin bags for $32.95 and 1,000-coin bags for $309.95.

As a result, finding 2009 coins in circulation is quite challenging, making US Mint rolls and coin bags all the more popular with collectors.
