ANA Debuts New Online Edition of ‘The Numismatist’, Free to Members

The American Numismatic Association debuts online version of the hobby’s premiere color magazine, The Numismatist. The June 2008 issue is free for everyone, while forthcoming issues are available only to ANA members through a secure member log-in.

ANAThe American Numismatic Association has launched an online version of The Numismatist at www.money.org. Members now can access all current and future magazine issues over the
Internet, anytime, anywhere.

The electronic edition replicates the print version using a “flip-page” PDF format. No special software is required.

Every high-resolution page is print-ready. Readers can zoom in for a closer look, search articles for keywords, or use the handy table of contents to go right to items of interest.

Die Variety News Magazine is Published: Issue #13 for May/June

Billy G. Crawford’s latest bi-monthly issue of Die Variety News magazine is now available online and for free.

Die Variety News Issue #13 CoverThe magazine’s May/June issue #13 sports, as its title suggests, a variety of interesting coin topics that are sure to please the collector. The numerous descriptive photos within the magazine are great in teaching new collectors about various coin die varieties while keeping experienced collectors well informed.

The magazine has started its third successful year in publication. This latest issue continues its tradition of top die variety news, including subjects on:

  • An analysis of the 2004-D Roosevelt Dime
    The cover story discusses an apparent double die resulting in "distinct and raised remnants" by Roosevelt’s ear.
