London Olympic Dig Reveals Old Roman Coin and Pottery

To hit timelines and get ready for the games, construction work has already begun.

That work has resulted in interesting archeological discoveries while digging for the planned Aquatics Centre in Stratford, east London.

In what looks to be an area that was once a small settlement, pottery from the 4th century and an old Roman coin were found buried beneath a river wall.
