The United States Mint announced that the sales of the Thomas Jefferson's Liberty First Spouse Gold Coin would begin on August 30th at 12:00 noon (ET). It was also announced that order limits would be set to one 1/2-ounce proof and one 1/2-ounce uncirculated per household. These coins are 24-karat and limited to 20,000 each. Previous spousal coins in this series sold out quickly. |

The U.S. Mint announced that they displayed the 12 gold, 22-karat, Sacagawea Dollars at the American Numismatic Association's World's Fair of Money® in Milwaukee.
