2011 Grand Canyon Quarter Three-Coin Set

Better numbers for silver coins and the debut figures for the Grand Canyon Quarter Three Coin Set were key topics in the most recent round of US Mint weekly sales news.

The sales week, which covers the period of April 10-17, reflected lower demand overall. Nineteen US Mint products had better weekly sales versus the previous week when fifty-four products shown brighter.

Three of the four U.S. Army and Medal of Honor silver coins were among the better products experiencing stronger demand. Silver sets were lower. However, two were suspended during the reporting week as the US Mint is in the process of adjusting their prices higher due to 31-year higher silver prices. (Two more sets were supended on this past Monday.)

Debut sales were released for the Grand Canyon Quarter Three Coin Set. They are the fourth issue and they started out better than the first three — Grand Canyon at 12,418, Yosemite at 11,441, Yellowstone at 11,115 and Hot Springs at 10,684.
