The latest America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set made its debut this past Tuesday, June 25, 2013. The third of the year and the 18th in the series includes three Great Basin National Park Quarters.

Three-coin sets have launched beside, well some days after, actually, the America the Beautiful Quarters® they contain. That has been the case since the program started in 2010.

As for this year, the first three-coin set held White Mountain National Forest quarters and the second featured Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial quarters. Forthcoming 2013-dated sets will have Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine quarters and Mount Rushmore National Memorial Site quarters.

Found within the newest Great Basin Quarters Set are three numismatic quarters emblematic of Great Basin National Park in Nevada. One of the America the Beautiful Quarters is in proof quality from the San Francisco Mint while the other two America the Beautiful Quarters are in uncirculated quality with one from the Philadelphia Mint and the other from the Denver Mint.

Three-Coin Set prices this year are $9.95, which is the same as in 2012. Prior to that, they were $14.95. Going back to the first one in 2010, all but the one featuring 2012 El Yunque National Forest quarters are available and may be bought online through the United States Mint website at www.usmint.gov/catalog. The El Yunque Quarters Three-Coin Set sold out earlier this year.
