ugh. Damn site down at 12PM. must be a lot of people trying to buy this set.

  2. Jimmy says:

It’s not looking good. Site down, switching to the phone! Busy, Busy, Busy.

  3. Simon says:

Yay, finally purchase my set. All it took was 1 hour and 9 mins :)

  4. Don says:

Finally got mine took about a 1/2 hour started at 11:45 central time

  5. Paul says:

    Yeah, it was tough…
I finally got through about 1:00. An extra click or two and Checkout showed a quantity of 2. I figured they’d catch that, so I backed it down to 1. Now if they would just bill my credit card for a different item that I ordered 3 days ago. I don’t know what’s up with that order.

  6. Btmidwest says:

Finally, got one!!! started at 11:00am(central) and got it confirmed at 1:02pm!!!

  7. John says:

I got mine ordered in 15 minutes but I was logged into the site an hour before. I got my daughters ordered right after that. Now I can not get back in.

  8. Cheryl says:

Got mine ordered at 12:15, my brother about an hour later…. looks to me there are 9000 sold in that hour based on the order numbers. Now site seemes totally down at 2:20.

  9. Michael says:

I hate to be a party pooper but if you read your confirmation E-mail, I think you got just an order number and may be placed on a waiting list.

  10. Cheryl says:

I got an email at 12:17 with an order number, it does say Qty 1 @ $55.95 - Backordered 10/30/09. Not sure what that means, but to me, it’s an order.

  11. Paul says:

The web site clearly said that the items will be available to ship on 10/30.

  12. Pat says:

Got mine through with online receipt & order number at 12:34. Got confirmation email at 12:41. It was subject “Order Receipt, Order #…..” and blank email body. So seems to me that is a firm order. My son, who got his through @5 min. later had an email at 12:48 with body indicating they received the order but reserve the right to cancel. So sounds like orders totaled the limit sometime during that five-minute period.

  13. Paul says:

Of course there’s no way to tell for sure, but since they’re still taking orders for the set a day later, they may not have sold out on the first day.
