I believe the Treasury Dept should check ebay, (among others) for this practice. They have been warned repeatedly about some of the sellers, selling counterfeit, or “replica coins. they seem to think it is okay. I for one will not but any coin that is not genuine, and tested to be the genuine article. If I can’t test tyhe coin, there will be no deal.
The United States should get very aggressive in the halting of the importing of these counterfeit coins, by imposing heavy fines dor the first incident, and shutting down the business, on the second incident.
Ebay should police itself for this ongoing practice, but (boesn’t)
