CCAC to Review 2021 and Beyond Quarter Design and 2021 American Liberty Designs

CCACThe Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) will hold a one-day public meeting Tuesday, October 15, to review designs for a high relief 2021 gold coin, for 2020-2021 silver medals, and for quarter reverses following the conclusion of the America the Beautiful coin program in 2021.

The CCAC is tasked with advising the Secretary of the Treasury on themes and designs pertaining to all United States coins and medals.

Specifically, key agenda topics for discussion include the review and discussion of candidate designs for:

  • the 2021 American Liberty High Relief 24-karat Gold Coin and Silver Medal;
  • the 2021 and beyond Washington Crossing the Delaware Quarter design;
  • the 2021 Navy Military 2.5 oz. Silver Medal; and
  • the 2020 Woman’s Suffrage Centennial Silver Medal.

Meeting Time, Location and Dial-In Options

The meeting begins at 9:30 a.m. and is scheduled to last until 3:15 p.m. (EDT). It is opened to interested members of the public, and will be held at:

Seating is limited with members of the public admitted on a first-come, first-serve basis. All persons entering the U.S. Mint’s headquarters must adhere to building security protocol, which includes consenting to the search of their persons and objects when they enter and leave.

Those who cannot attend may also dial in to listen by calling (866) 564-9287 and using Access Code: 62956028. No comments or questions will be taken during the meeting. Dial-in access is "listen only," and phones must be kept on mute to not disturb the discussion.
