Fans of the superhero team Justice League™ can now add coins alongside their comic collection. The Royal Canadian Mint is selling a new 2018-dated series of cupro-nickel, silver and gold coins featuring Wonder Woman, Flash, Superman, Batman, Aquaman, and Cyborg.
Showcased on the coins’ reverses is original artwork by Canadians Justice League artists Jason Fabok and Brad Anderson. The collector coins include:
- a 25-cent cupro-nickel lenticular 3D coin animating all six members of the Justice League;
- a trio of 1 oz. fine silver coins with a $20 face value, featuring superhero pairings of the Flash and Wonder Woman, Cyborg and Superman, and Batman and Aquaman;
- a $30 fine silver coin celebrating "The World’s Greatest Super Heroes"; and
- a $100 14-Karat gold coin entitled "United We Stand".
Prices of these officially licensed collectibles range from CAD $29.95 (~US $23) to CAD $749.95 (~US $581).
The 25-cent coin features a 3D effect. When tilted, the coin’s design alternates from showing members of the Justice League at a distance to showing them closer as if they are springing into action.

Limited to 7,500 per design, the three 2018 $20 Justice League silver coins are minted in a proof collector finish from a composition of 99.99% pure silver to a weight of 31.92 grams. The pairing of superheroes on each coin is depicted in color, as highlighted in these Royal Canadian Mint coin videos:
The $20 Cyborg and Superman coin has the added effect of glowing in the dark. When all three 1 oz. silver coins are placed side-by-side and in order, the Royal Canadian Mint notes that they have a:
"shattered glass" effect that "unites them all as a larger design, like individuals coming together to form a whole."
Struck in 2 ounces of 99.99% pure silver and limited to a mintage of 6,000 pieces, the 2018 $30 The World’s Greatest Super Heroes Silver Coin offers a colorful design of the six superheroes standing tall together.
Then there is the 2018 $100 United We Stand Coin, struck in 14 karat gold to a weight of 12 grams. The gold coin, limited to 2,500 pieces, shows the Justice League team’s three most iconic heroes — Batman, Wonder Woman and Superman.
