Today, Feb. 2, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) started taking orders for its 2017 Happy Birthday Currency Note.
This money product features an uncirculated Series 2013 $1 Federal Reserve note with a serial number beginning with "2017xxxx." The dollar is protected by a clear, acid-free polymer sleeve and is held within a birthday-themed folder with images of balloons and a present.
Like last year’s birthday note which sold out, its price is $5.95. Discounted pricing is available with quantities of 50 or more sold for $4.50 each.
