As an added buying incentive, the coin ships free to Canada and United States addresses and the Mint does not charge tax.

Woodland Elf Coin Designs and Specifications

Canadian artist Jesse Koreck designed the colorful design that depicts the woodland elf sitting on a tree stump. Other birdhouses and birds adorn the scene, along with fresh fallen snow.

Above the design, CANADA and 2016 is inscribed. Below, we find the content and face value inscriptions of FINE SILVER 9999 ARGENT PUR 25 DOLLARS. The artist’s initials of JK are off to the right.

Struck as legal tender of Canada, Susanna Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II appears on the silver coin’s obverse (heads side). Circling the royal portrait are the inscriptions of CANADA, ELIZABETH II and D G REGINA. Blunt’s initials appear on the shoulder of the Queen.

This is an hideous, atrocious little Troll in full color on a very small 1-fourth ounce silver coin at about USD $14.50 above its spot silver price! I guess the paint on this thing is expensive. An early “Happy Holidays” from the RCM with a 275,000 mintage coin.

LOL. How rude! Her Majesty QEII is NOT amused. You are now on the “no-fly list” to the UK.

Our family were all disappointed in the elf coin. We ordered five of them. We didn’t expect we’d need magnifying glasses to find the details. Why would a $25 piece be smaller than the loony or toonie?
