2015 American Silver Eagles Notch Sales Record
2015 sales of American Eagle silver bullion coins hit an all-time record on Monday, Nov. 30, according to United States Mint figures published on www.usmint.gov.

2015 Saratoga Quarters Launch in US Mint Products
At noon ET today, Nov. 30, the United States Mint started taking orders for rolls and bags of America the Beautiful Quarters commemorating Saratoga National Historical Park in New York. This quarter features the last of the five designs for 2015 and marks the 30th overall in the series.

2016 Mark Twain Commemorative Coin Designs Revealed
Designs for next year's Mark Twain Commemorative Coins were unveiled today, Nov. 28, at the Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum. They were presented as part of Twain's 180th Birthday Bash.

US Banknote Production Tops 784.6 Million in October
Money production ramped up in October from a month earlier but slowed from a year ago, data from the agency responsible for producing U.S. currency shows. The combined value of the notes jumped sharply against both periods.

Gold, Silver Little Changed in Pre-Holiday Trading
Most precious metals posted only modest changes in pre-holiday trading Wednesday. Markets in the U.S. are closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday but they re-open on Friday.

2015 Proof Platinum Eagles on Dec. 3, No Bullion Edition
Collectible 2015-W Proof American Platinum Eagles will go on sale Dec. 3 with a surprisingly reduced mintage, the United States Mint revealed earlier today. The U.S. Mint also announced that it would not produce a companion bullion edition "due to a lag in obtaining a sufficient quantity of production platinum blanks."
The struggle in acquiring those blanks has sharply trimmed this year's proof Platinum Eagle mintage. It fell to 4,000 coins from last year's announced limit of 15,000 coins [...]
